Klab has announced the launch of their latest Puzzle mobile game, Puzzle Wonderland. The game is now available on both Japan’s App and Play Store. Grab it now!
Previously in my pre-registration post, I mentioned that the game plays similar to Disney Tsum Tsum. Although not entirely true, the main aim of connecting the same coloured jewels still applies. There are 3 basic types of jobs in the game, Melee, Range and Magic, each with their own skill trees. In total, there are over 70 different jobs for players to evolve and unlock.
In Puzzle Wonderland, Players will form a party of 4 (3+1 friend) to go on the adventure. The objective of the game is to form a long series of chain combos between each party members. You can connect to another party member if your next jewel is where the other party member stands. Also, at any time, you can actually rotate the surrounding jewels so that it’s easier to move to the next party member. It’s a bit difficult to explain in words on how the mechanic works so watch my gameplay video below.
To be honest, I feel that the game is actually more challenging with the current mechanics and I believe players with super great foresight can actually chain the game like forever. Besides the awesome costumes and character customization, the game does have some pretty good looking Anime-ish cutscenes. The game also supports a 4-player co-op function.
