Ragnarok M: Eternal Love – Interview with Developer

0

Ragnarok M: Eternal Love (SEA Ver.) will begin a closed beta test on October 20th. An interview was done with ROM developer Mr. Xing Wanli prior to this. In this interview, Mr. Xing introduces the game and gives us a lot of interesting information, such as; Thailand Game Show, pre-registration headwear, and much more!

Aside from being the ROM developer, Mr. Xing is also a massive Ragnarok Online fan and player, as are the members of his team. He always talks about making friends in-game, and tries to bring the old RO to more players. Mr. Xing spoke of the interesting systems of ROM, including the job and party systems. One of the most important systems is the communication function, allowing players to make friends in-game and deepen the gameplay experience substantially.

In this SEA release, the game includes multiple languages: English, Thai, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. For this multi-language feature, the development team has optimized the route (channel) function, and players with the same language are more likely to be along the same route. During developing the multi-language features, the team ran into a lot of problems, such as UI and grammar, that they were eager to deal with.

According to Xing, the SEA release version is one of ROM’s most important versions, the “War of Emperium”. It also includes two earlier patches; v1.0 Glast Heim, v2.0 Pet and Lovers. There will be 10 Jobs, plus tons of in-game content to keep everyone engaged! Guild versus Guild is expected to release a month after launch

Additionally, Mr. Xing told us the game will be shown at TGS in Thailand, during October 26th to 28th. They have prepared the game to be played at TGS, and have prepared special treats and merchandise for attending players!
