What Each Tier Means

Unsure why certain Specs were placed into their respective tier? This section dissects the ranks to tell you what a Spec must provide to qualify for its tier.

  • S: The strongest Specs in Rock Fruit! These elite few dominate the rest and show excellent combat adaptability with powerful and versatile movesets and no obvious weaknesses.
  • A: Great alternatives to the S-Tier Specs if you fancy something new or can’t obtain those in the highest tier for any reason. These Specs are very strong, applying pressure to any enemy they face.
  • B: Nestled into the average tier, these Specs are… decent. They’re far from the best, but equally not that bad. They’re good as a first Spec if you’re an early-game player who isn’t strong enough to obtain a higher tier one yet.
  • C: Despite escaping the worst tier, these Specs still don’t live up to those in the higher ranks. Unless these are V1, with a V2 in a higher tier, don’t bother with them.
  • D: Amongst their peers, these are the weakest Specs, which you can safely avoid wasting time grinding to obtain. They’re rather niche and not usually anyone’s first choice.
