Rune Slayer Races Guide

Upon joining Rune Slayer, every player will belong to the Human lineage. This common race defines the foundation for most players’ builds since a reroll costs a hefty 150 Robux per! And, there’s never a guarantee to land something other than a Human.

Despite that making the Human race seem… Lacklustre. Each heritage offers unique stat enhancers which should also be considered when choosing your Class. Let’s get into it!

Human Race

Humans have no cosmetic changes, looking as you’d expect them to. They’re a hardy and adaptable bunch that, all around, have balanced skills and stats. When rerolling, you have a 25.3% chance to become a Human.

  • Tenacity [Passive] – When below 50% HP, Humans gain a 15% DMG buff and a 15% DMG intake reduction.
  • Ghoul Slayer [Passive] – Deal more DMG to undead enemies.
  • Hunger Efficiency [Passive] – +1 Focus Efficiency, +2 Mana Efficiency
  • Surge – Harnesses hunger to gain a huge stamina boost at the cost of 50 Hunger Drain.

Elf Race

The elven race stunts their iconic pointed long ears, which, despite the size, don’t impact their visibility as they pride themselves on ambush attacks and being unseen. This stealthy bunch has a 25.3% chance to appear during rerolls.

  • Strider [Passive] – +3% Speed, +10% Cooldown Reduction, +10% Stealth
  • Mana Affinity [Passive] – +10% Mana
  • Focus Affinity [Passive] – +5% Focus
  • Duskwalk (Level 15) – Temporary invisibility on command

Orc Race

Highly resilient and tough, Orcs pride themselves on being brutes with restless drive. Orcs are easily recognised by their deep red skin and tusks protruding from their mouth. They can survive unthinkable temperatures such as extreme heat. This race appears 25.3% of the time during rerolls.

  • Battle Hardened [Passive] – +10% Base Health Regen
  • Ravenous [Passive] – +15% Max Hunger allowance
  • Ash Walker [Passive] – +20% more Heat Resistance

Ailuran Race

This animal race has cute ears atop their heads and only appears 10% of the time during rerolls.

  • Fleetfoot [Passive] – +8% Speed
  • Beastly Coat [Passive] – +10% Fire Resistance, +25% heat and cold resistance
  • Prowler [Passive] – +25% Jump height, +15% Fall DMG Reduction

Slime Race

Slimes are the most gelatinous bunch around! They have pale green skin, with dark green hair to match. This lineage appears 6% of the time during rerolls.

  • Viscous Shock [Active] – Sacrifice some HP to shock enemies costing 10 Magic.
    • Black Ooze Slime: Enhances the Viscous Shock by applying a potent poison.
  • Slime Body [Passive] – +25% Immunity, -7.5% Fire Resistance, -7.5% Magic Resistance
  • Viscous Remains [Passive] – Chance to release a blob of slime when stuck

Half-Golem Race

Made of stone, this hardy race is very robust and has excellent survivability against foes thanks to their composition. This race appears 6% of the time during rerolls. Unlike other lineages, those in this heritage choose Racial Upgrades alongside the built-in stats.

  • Stone Body [Passive] – +5% DMG Reduction, +10 Max Weight, +25% Robustness, -5% Max Speed
  • Racial Upgrades:
    • Siege Body: -10% Speed Boost, +10% DMG Reduction, +5% Magic Resistance, +25 Max Weight, +25% Robustness
    • Assault Golem: +12% Attack Power, +6% Speed Boost, -10% Damage Reduction, +25% Robustness
    • Crystal Golem: +12% Magic Buff, +6% Speed Boost, -10% Damage Reduction, +25% Robustness

Dullahan Race

Finally, the rarest lineage! Dullahan players are powerful with a nice blend of active and passive abilities to use. They only appear a slim 2% of the time during rerolls.

  • Severed Sight [Active] – Dismantle your head to use as a camera.
  • Grim Reaper [Passive] – Siphon health from enemies when they’re defeated
  • Undead Body [Passive] – +25% Robustness, +25% Cold Resistance, -20% Holy Resistance
  • Soul Harvest [Skill unlocked at Level 15] – Chance to conjure a Death Sickle to harvest a target’s soul.
