Rune Slayer Slime King
To find the Slime King when he spawns, head North from Wayshire down the path. Then, follow the pathway to the right into the forest expanse. If the Slime King isn’t immediately seen visually or through his boss bar, his spawn cooldown hasn’t ended.
When active, the Slime King has a few attacks to watch out for. Consume will ensnare and drag players closer to the mob which deals a lot of damage. Slam allows the Slime King to deal damage by jumping forwards and colliding with players. Or, he will fire poisonous bullets using his Slime Shotgun move.
Whilst battling, the Slime King leaves puddles of Slime which poison players on contact and has the chance to spawn some of his lesser minions to fight alongside him.
Slime King Defeat and Drops
Before battling the Slime King, I recommend gearing up and getting used to your attacks and skills. To do both of these simultaneously, complete NPC quests and join the Adventurers Guild.
Both avenues listed will enhance skills, level up the player and give them some new kit to take into battle! As the Slime King is one of the early-game bosses, he isn’t overly hard to defeat.

- Slime Chunk (Common drop)
- Can be sold or used to tame Slimes.
- Slime Core (Common drop)
- Used in crafting Slime Related items.
- Philosopher’s Ring – 7% drop chance (Uncommon)
- Makes Potions effects stronger.
