Kick Ass, Ltd. has announced the launch of their latest mobile game, The Rising of the Shield Hero RERISE (盾の勇者の成り上がり RERISE). Fans of the series can now download the game from Japan’s App or Play Store.
The Rising of the Shield Hero RERISE is a hero-collection RPG based on the popular anime, The Rising of the Shield Hero.
In this game, Players get to collect familiar characters from the anime series and form a party of 5 members to defeat enemies.
Combat is mostly automated with the option to cast your character’s skill by tapping on the portrait.
The character design in the game is actually very pretty however, the game uses an old-school portrait mode combat system which makes the actual gameplay boring. Unless you’re a really big fan of the series, I guess you can give this a miss.
