The Time Of Ninja Elements Tier List

You obtain Elements through luck of the draw in the customisation menu on the title page. Element Spins aren’t free, but you should be able to accumulate some through Codes and defeating Arena Bosses.

Typically, Elements are divided into categories between Natural and Genkai, with Genkai Elements being the absolute rarest of the game.

S-Tier

The strongest Elements in The Time of Ninja! They stunt moveset versatility and often overpower the other Elements in head-to-head combat between NPCs, Bosses and other players.

  • Ice – 5% Roll chance (Genkai)
    • Some moves have a freeze stun chance on enemies
    • Focuses on group control and high damage

A-Tier

Great alternatives if you’re not up for risking a reroll. These Elements have solid movements for players mastering them to learn, with a nice balance between high-damage and passives.

  • Lightning – 95% Roll chance (Natural)
    • Some moves deal a stun to enemies through electrical shock
    • Focuses on group control and high damage
  • Earth – 95% Roll chance (Natural)
    • Focuses on group control and defensive abilities

B-Tier

These Elements perform relatively average with some niche uses. They’re not entirely incapable, but why settle for less?

  • Fire – 95% Roll chance (Natural)
    • Moves have a chance to deal burn damage
    • Focuses on ranged attacks and high damage
  • Water – 95% Roll chance (Natural)
    • Focuses on group control and escapist

C-Tier

Weak, but not the worst. These Elements aren’t highly regarded for their abilities so I wouldn’t recommend them.

  • Wind – 95% Roll chance (Natural)
    • Ranged attacks and escapist

D-Tier

The worst Elements in The Time of Ninja! I would not recommend flaunting these in battle. I encourage you to re-roll as soon as possible.

  • There are currently no D-Tier Elements! This is a good thing.
