Spokko has announced the launch of their latest AR mobile game, The Witcher: Monster Slayer. Players who are interested in the game can now download it from your local App or Play Store.
The Witcher: Monster Slayer is an augmented-reality exploration game that challenges you to become an elite monster hunter. As you explore the real world around you, each step will take you deeper into a dark fantasy adventure.
Controls are pretty simple, all you have to do is swipe your screen to attack the Monster, tap and hold to parry while following the symbol to cast your Sign. Timing your parry is very important in the game as the Monsters can be a little too difficult right from the start. Also, remember to use your oils if you have difficulty dealing significant damage to the Monster.
Like any AR games, I suggest playing it without the AR mode as it heats up your phone pretty quick. Also, trying to “locate” the monster in AR mode can be a little frustrating if you’re playing it in a confine space such as your room.
Lastly, if you’re going out to your neighborhood to find monsters to slay, do take precaution and follow your local country’s Covid19 guidelines!
