The Close Beta Test for Torchlight Infinite ended 2 days ago and immediately after the closure of the servers, XD Entertainment has announced that the Open Beta Test for Torchlight Infinite will start on 12 October 2022.
I’ve tried playing the CBT for about 3 days and I must say that the game is definitely better than you know what… There are many different ways you can customize and develop your character’s skills in the game. If you’re someone who loves theory-crafting and trying out different builds, this is definitely the game for you.
The most important aspect of an ARPG is the loot system. There is no gatekeeping to the amount of loot you can get per day in Torchlight Infinite. Players will have the freedom to do whatever you want in the game without having to hit a cap or paywall. As there are many different ways to build your character, looting can be super grindy but very rewarding when you find that magical piece that suits your build.
The only down side of the game is that the looks of your character is fixed and will not change even if you change your equipment. Personally, I’m not a fan of ARPG with vibrant color scheme, I prefer a darker-themed visuals for my ARPG. However, the gameplay is definitely attractive enough for me to continue my journey in Torchlight Infinite.
As we are heading towards Open Beta in less than a month’s time, check out the latest Devblog to find out what are the upcoming changes they are making based on the CBT feedback.
