We hope you like vacations and adventure, because the new event for Tower of God: New World offers that and a whole lot more. Named Hot Summer Festival, it gives you the chance to earn unique characters, items, and take on exciting new challenges.
But first, a little about Tower of God: New World itself. Released by leading mobile gaming developer and publisher Netmarble, it’s an anime style RPG that focuses around card battling.
You’re tasked with taking control of a range of over 70 characters as they ascend the Tower. What makes battles in the game truly exciting is the unique Slot System, which powers up a particular “slot” rather than specific characters, making the tussles a lot more interesting than your usual turn based card battler.
This new update builds impressively on the core game too. Teammates SSR+ [Thorn] Biole (Red element, Ranged) and SSR [Maniacal] Xia Xia (Red element, Supporter) have been added, and Biole, Xia Xia, Shibisu, Hatz, Ha Yuri, and Hwaryun have all received new costumes.
Other than this there’s some new content to get your teeth into as well. The ‘Dangerous Vacation’ story event lives up to its name, offering up a range of missions to complete in order to receive rewards ranging from Normal Summon Tickets (x21), SSR Soulstones, and more.
Then there’s Xia Xia’s Growth Mission. Once you’ve obtained the SSR Xia Xia you have eight missions to take on. If you complete these you then receive SSR Xia Xia one more time. Nifty.
Other than these events there’s also the Vacation Mission where you can complete missions and receive special in-game rewards, including Normal Summon Tickets (x21), SSR Soulstones, and more.
If that wasn’t enough there’s a Vacation Event Exchange Shop which lets you exchange items you’ve earned via the story events for the Shibisu Soulstone, Shibisu Costume, Teammate Grade Enhancement Scroll, and other valuable objects.
