What Happened To Anime Rangers X?
Anime Rangers X recently celebrated its Update 1, by releasing an Easter Event featuring three new units and a ton of other refined fixes. However, so soon after, on April 25th, the game vanished…
The Roblox page now shows the default creation feature image with the entire experience locked to the general public. The DEVS on Discord quickly made an announcement telling all players this was due to a DMCA filing.
This isn’t uncommon for anime-inspired Roblox games since they often push the boundaries of franchises to bring you F2P games with all your favourites in one place. An unlikely scenario for official games off the platform. I mean, where else can you have Broly, Gojo, and Carrot in one place?
What Happens Now
Fortunately, the DEVS are working tirelessly to bring the game back without any data loss. They can’t guarantee that anyone affected by the sudden shutdown will be reimbursed without proof, but players are encouraged to visit the Discord Server and file a ticket when the game returns if they’re missing any valuables.
Currently, there is no ETA on when Anime Rangers X will return, but with all hands on deck, we can hopefully get back to enjoying the game soon! Whilst this hasn’t been directly stated, I imagine the Easter Event will be extended on return. Likewise, we may get a new Code to redeem as an apology.
How Will The Game Change?
DEV Chxmei on Discord stated, “everyone can rest assured I’m currently fixing this and there won’t be any changes in the model to that point that it isn’t anime anymore”.
So, hopefully the game will still be recognisable and iconic to what we’ve already gotten used to. Chances are, the main changes will include unit naming and maybe slightly off-model ranger revamps. Though none of this is known for certain yet.
Update Log
According to Chxmei, the issue isn’t related to DMCA and is instead a minor issue. (Time posted: 10:55 am).
