Over the weekends, I was playing this new mobile survival game called Last Day on Earth: Survival. The game is published by Kefir! and is currently available on Google Play for download.
Like all survival games, I enter into a world of unknown with no clue on what to do. There are no Quest Markers or Tutorials that can help me. My only objective was to stay alive and hopefully, survive the zombie horde with my bare hands.
Some people might argue that this is a Durango clone but isn’t all survival games similar? Unlike Durango where you have a big open world, Last Day on Earth uses instance based map. Players are required to travel to another area to gather resources to upgrade your home. Travelling takes time (real-life time) and if you want to cut the time needed to travel, you’ll have to use Energy. This is probably the main monetizing plan for the game.
Most survival games allow you to team up with other people at low levels to help each other and share the crafting burden. However, Last Day on Earth requires you to play solo until you’re at least level 28 before you can unlock the clan system. For those of you who like to play with your friends, this may sound like a bad feature but the game emphasizes on being alone and what it takes to survive. There is no place left for friendship, love and compassion.
You will still be able to meet other Players while gathering resources from nearby maps but most of the time, these Players will be hostile and eyeing on your backpacks. I actually enjoy “Pking” other players at early levels as this is a “shortcut” to getting valuable stuff.
As you level up, you’ll be able to craft better items for survival. You can also craft vehicles that can help speed up your journey to another zone.
If this is your first survival game, you might feel a little overwhelm at the start. You need to know that if you die in the game, the items that you are carrying with you will be gone forever. Always remember to build yourself some storage box and make sure you keep the materials in the store.

Level 2 plank where and what is that? Im trying to build a bike, a big chest and other stuff but it won’t let me.
If u need the stuffs for motocycle , go to find far maps …I mean you no need to across rivers , just go find in your homeland as far as u can ..I had found 4 engines , 1 exhaul pipe , 1 pistol ,1 sword and many other items from the biggest forest today.And if u planning to go , don’t forget to take your finest weapons, medic kit,etc with u cuz there is so many of zombies and thiefs who will plunder all u have and kill u.
Does anyone know where to find the handle bar and gas tank for the bike? Also how do you defeat “the big one” I can never kill him.

The code will come over yr CB radio as a distress call. U have to click on ur CB radio periodically and that’s when it will tell u yr code. Mine was 02555. The only problem was it didn’t allow me to do anything it just shorted out the console and raised the center of the vault but other than that and a counter that says it will close in 24 hours on the map theres nothing else that happened. No extra opportunity no item access nothing i feel ripped off
@Jugernutz walk up to the part that raised up and press the little “hand” that’s underneath the attack button. It is an elavator and takes you to several rooms full of zombies, but if you go through all rooms, you get Ak47 and m16. Very difficult tho, strogn zombies that kill you with one hit and turrets..
You have to walk up to it and numbers pop up alclick one and it takes you to that floor level
Bunker codes appear when you build the cb radio, the code regenerates every 24 hours

Where will i find the fuel?
Everything is by chance, just like real life scavenging. I am currently lvl 80 and still need a fuel tank for my motorcycle and I am not going into what I need for my atv to get across the rivers. So this game is about grinding…because that is all to do during this beta version…apparently. Level two floors and walls are limestone rocks and pine planks, lvl three floors and walls are iron bars and limestone blocks. So it is a lot of going out there and cutting down trees and getting limestone and ore. Make gardens and rain catchers for food. Carrot stew is one of the best and you need pine logs for fuel. Don’t use the pine planks that you get from processing the logs for fuel, it is a waste of time and you need those planks for better items and upgrading your floors and walls to level 2. You cannot join a clan at lvl 28 because you cannot get the items needed to build the tower. I know where the oak is, its across the water but I have no idea about the steel.
Where did u get the motorcycle gas tank and fork(handle)

We are on the same page man, haha. I also need to build a tower, but I need oak planks, it’s really hard to find out. I cut down that few oaks from the area of watching tower. But those few oaks still not enough make for oak planks,the problem is because 3 oaks makes one oak plank. I saw that there is an oak makes an oak plank on Android phone. I playing it on iphone, why it’s different 🤣. By the way . Did you get more oaks Without cross the river ?
Bunkers need access cards with a letter corresponding to the bunker, ie: Bunker Alpha needs access card A, bunker Bravo needs access card B. Watch out for bunker bravo, lots of nasties waiting inside.
Hey guys probably a dumb question but I’m pretty new to this game is that any resourceful purpose for a shovel or is it literally for smashing heads off zombies??
Everything you need is a random drop from killing zombies and opening chests and doing the random heli drops. Yes the shovel is just a weapon so far. Heli drops are random, I have not noticed my energy low with heli drops. I am having issues with the game fully loading when I try to enter an area after travelling there. Is anyone else having issues?
Well I have not been able to play for 4 days now. Still waiting for customer support to get back to me. Apparently the game will not load past the map screen. Anyone else having similar issues?
How do you do plank level 2???
For plank level 2 you have to craft the wood working table and put pine logs in the square slot to process pine planks. I discovered that either there is no customer support or they are just too busy. The developers cannot keep up with the amount of players. So when I get stuck on a load screen I just uninstall and reinstall the game and choose an open server and then choose to restore my game. Things work for a bit then but I have had to do that several time. Still working on finding parts for the atv so I can collect oak across the river. I am level 91 and still just grinding.
Well I guess they fixed it, back playing again.
FYI- for those that don’t know lvl 99 is the top lvl. And I am one point short for unlocking all craftable items….what a drag. Still have not found the gas tank for the motorcycle and still working on the atv.
